PRO-FIT EXTREME PERFORMANCE FABRIC

Our premium material has been tested by one of the largest fibre companies in the world and has received the highest possible performance rating “ Extreme”. This is the ultimate fabric for both moisture management (wicking) and anti-bacterial protection (smell). In addition to outperforming other materials, it does not wash out and lasts for the life of the garment. This fabric is ideal for soccer, lacrosse, baseball, volleyball, basketball, ball hockey, rowing and many other sports and activities.

What does this all mean? The vast majority of wicking apparel on the market today including some of the most popular brands, are not made from special moisture wicking yarns. These fabrics are most often just treated with chemicals at the same time as the rolls of material are color dyed. Extensive testing has proven that materials treated in this manner do not perform nearly as well as material that is actually made from performance fibers. Furthermore, every time the garment is laundered, a percentage of these chemicals also get washed out, which further reduces their effectiveness. Eventually they disappear completely and you are left with nothing more than ordinary polyester material.

We cater to athletes and count on their referrals and repeat business. Our extreme performance fabric has been made to our own specifications and has received rave reviews from the most important people of all, our customers.

Thermal Management

Evaporation and Convection are the body’s two most important cooling methods. Convection transfers heat away from the body into the cooler atmosphere so increased air flow can move heat and moisturevapor through the fabric. Convection through fabrics is enhanced with breathability making air permeability and moisture vapor transmission important measures. When the air is hotter than we are, it cannot take heat from us through convection, so we perspire. Fabrics that do not breathe adequately cause perspiration to build up inside a garment. Fabrics that absorb and hold moisture, such as cotton, can quickly become saturated and also reduce breathability. Evaporation is the body’s most efficient method of heat loss and cooling. When our perspiration evaporates, heat is taken from our skin, and our body temperature is lowered. Wicking action transports moisture away from the skin, through the fabric, and onto a large surface area to promote drying and evaporation.
